      卢根生, 宋波, 金锡御, 熊恩庆
      Issue 2, Pages: 65-68(2003)
Abstract:<正> Objective: To study the relationship between the expression of muscarinic receptor subtype M3R and thedecomposition of phosphatidylinositol(PI). Methods: The[3H]-IP contents were detected with[3H]incorporationin human cultured detrusor muscle cells after being stimulated by carbachol, atropine, methoctramine, and 4-DAMP,respectively. Results: The [3H]-IP contents m increased with the elevation of carbachol concentration. Both atro-pine and 4-DAMP significantly inhibited the effect of carbachol on PI decomposition (P<0.01), but methoctramine

      Issue 2, Pages: 73-76(2003)
Abstract:<正> Objective: To observe the oxidative modification of high density lipoprotein (HDL) induced by culturedhuman arterial smooth muscle cells (SMCs). Methods: HDL cocultured with SMCs at 37℃ in 48 h was subjected, and native HDL (N-HDL) served as control. Oxidative modification of HDL was identified by using agarose gel electro-phoresis. Absorbances of conjugated diene (CD) and lipid hydroperoxide (LOOH) were measured with ultravioletspectrophotometry at 234 and 560 nm respectively, and fluorescence intensity of thiobarbuturic acid reaction substance

      Issue 2, Pages: 77-80(2003)
Abstract:<正> Objective: To investigate the relationship between oxidative stress and apoptosis and bcl-2 expression fol-lowing traumatic brain injury (TBI). Methods: Male Sprague-Dawley ras were subjected to lateral fluid percussionbrain injury (FPBI) of moderate severity. U-74389G (20 mg/kg) were administered intravenously before FPBI. Theneurological functions were measured by beam-walk task (BWT) and beam-balance task (BBT). In addition to mor-phological evidence of apoptosis, TUNEL histochemistry was used to identify DNA fragmentation in situ with both lightand electron microscopic levels. The internucleosomal fragments of DNA in apoptotic cells were examined using agarose

Abstract:<正> Ojective: To investigate the effect of hammerhead ribozyme that specifically cleaves c-myc mRNA on theproliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs). Methods: Based on the computer analysis of the secondarystructure of c-myc mRNA, nt 2029 in rat c-myc oncogene was selected as a cleaving site for hammerhead ribozyme andthe ribozyme was designed. With automatic DNA synthesizer, the two complementary DNA strands of the ribozyme weresynthesized. The ribozyme gene was cloned into pGEM3Zf(+)vector and subcloned into eukaryotic expression pcD-NA3 vector. The recombinant pcDNA-Rz was transfected into the cultured rat VSMCs by lipofectAMINE mediated DNA

Abstract:<正> Objective: To study on the preparation process of a new surfactant-based microbubble ultrasound contrastagent and to evaluate its contrast effects in vivo. Methods: Microbubble ultrasound contrast agent with three ester sur-factants and other additives as its shell materials was prepared by sonication. Sulfur hexafluoride was adopted as the in-ner gas of the microbubbles. New methods through the combination of optical microscope and some softwares were usedto measure the size distribution and the concentration of the microbubbles. Some parameters such as the pH value of thephosphate buffer, quantity of the carboxylic methyl cellulose in the shell materials, selection of the ultrasound powerand process time, were studied. Six hybirded dogs were used to verify the in vivo contrast imaging of the contrast agentusing second harmonic power Doppler modality. Safety and persistent time of the agent inner animal body were also in-

      Issue 2, Pages: 121-123(2003)
Abstract:<正> Objective: To study the effects of quercetin on hepatocyte stimulating factor production from mouse perito-neal macrophages. Methods: Hepatocyte stimulating factor was evaluated by the amount of fibrinogen synthesized inHep3B cells. Interleukin-6 activity was measured by B9 cell proliferation methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium colorimetric meth-od. Hep3B cell supernatant fibrinogen was quantitated with ELISA. Results: LPS induced the synthesis of hepatocytestimulating factor in mouse peritoneal macrophages, and hepatocyte stimulating factor promotes the synthesis of fibrino-gen from Hep3B cells. Quercetin(5 to 40 μmol/L) inhibited the synthesis of hepatocyte stimulating factor stimulated

Presented here is theage-related height centile curves for children aged 0-18 years in Shaanxi, China, 1995. Methods: Data of theShaanxi population were retrieved from The Third Nationwide Growth Survey to construct the age-related height centilecurves. The LMS method was used for curve fitting; all analyses were carried out on the basis of different sexes througha special program for LMS(λ-median-coefficient) method which was devised by Cole TJ.
