- Abstract：<正> Two experimental patterns of autogenous nerve replantation in situ and centrocentralnerve suture were performed on the rabbit median and ulnar nerves.The results of light andtransmission electron microscopy as well as immunohistochemistry showed that autogenous nervereplantation in situ could inhibit the formation of neuroma.The mechanism might be that twoproximal stump axons could touch within the interpolated graft segment.Simple end-to-endnerve suture failed to inhibit neuroma development because of a lack of proper environment forthe touching between two proximal stump axons.0|2|0Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> In the present study,ricin A chain（RTA）was first biotinylated,and then chemicallyintroduced to a monoclonal antibody against gastric cancer,MGb2 to generate an immuno-ricin Achain conjugate（I-RTA）specific for gastric cancer.Subsequently,its endocytosis in human gas-tric cancer cell line SGC-7901 was investigated by double dynamic EM labeling technique utilizingstreptavidin-gold and sheep anti-mouse IgG-gold probes.In addition,the effects of verapamil onI-RTA endocytosis process were also observed.Our findings demonstrated that the main entryroute of I-RTA was non-coated microinvagination,followed by coated pits and interiorization ofmicrovilli.Intracellularly,the endocytosed I-RTA was quickly transported from tubulovesicularstrueutres to multivesicular bodies,and finally to lysosomes where it was degraded,while in thenon-membranous structures I-RTA was scanty.In the presence of verapamil,however,I-RTAwas found to stay longer in tubulovesicular structures and to move in a less amount and moreslowly into lysosomes.In the meantime,I-RTA was seen to be increased in the non-membranousstructures of the cytosol,and the in vitro killing efficacy was greatly augmented.0|9|0Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> The effects of different ambient pressures of 53.99,61.33 and 96.60 kPa on theseverity of blast injury were observed in rats.It was found that when the incident shock wavewas 190.40 kPa in its peak pressure and 10 ms in its duration, both the mortality and the severityof lung injury were progressively increased along with the decrease of the ambient pressure.Themortality rate of the rats in the 6th hour after exposure was 0%,25% and 36.8% and the hem-orrhagic area on the lungs was 63.75+69.01,313.50+357.25 and 653.21+652.25 squaremilimeters when the ambient pressure was 96.60,61.33 and 53.99 kPa respectively.In addi-tion, the lung/body index was 0.93+0.21%,1.31+0.65% and 1.50+0.77% respectively.Itis believed that the decrease of the ambient pressure might decrease the tolerance of the rat to theimpact of blast waves to result in higher mortality and more extensive hemorrhage on the lungs.0|7|0Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> Extracellular discharges of neurons in the dorsomedial nucleus（DMN）were recordedwith glass microelectrode from rat hypothalamic slices.The firing frequency decreased in 77 andincreased in 48 units during the addition of norepinephrine into the bath(NE,2×10-5 mol/L)of160 units when the slices were perfused with artificial cerebrospinal fluid （ACSF）.Most of theseresponses could be antagonized by Yohimbine(YOH,2×10-5～4×10-5 mol/L).Nevertheless,when the perfusion fluid was changed,i.e.,with low Ca2+-high Mg2+ ACSF（CM-ACSF）whichcould block the chemical synaptic transmission,26 out of 35 units were inhibited by NE and only1 unit excited.The inhibition could he blocked by YOH. A very significant difference（P<0.01）was seen between the data obtained in ACSF and those in CM-ACSF.Furthermore,all NE-inhibited units in ACSF were also NE-inhibited in CM-ACSF,but the majority of NE-excited u-nits in ACSF changed into NE-inhibited or NE-unresponsive in CM-ACSF.The results suggestedthat NE produced a direct inhibitory effect on neurons in DMN which was mediated by the post-synaptic alpha 2 adrenergic receptors.0|7|0Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> The effect of myocardium being subjected to 60 min ischemia and 60 min reperfusion incat cardiopulmonary bypass on level of lipid peroxides（LPO）,function of myocardial mitochon-dria and activity of superoxides dismutase（SOD）was studied. Myocardial mitochondrial functionwas depressed slightly 60 rain after ischemia but significantly 60 min after reperfusion.Increasedlipid peroxides content and decreased activity of SOD were observed at 60 rain after ischemia.Af-ter reperfusion,the activity of SOD continued decreasing,and LPO elevated still further.Theseresults support the hypothesis that free radicals may contribute to myocardial reperfusion injury.0|6|2Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> In the present experiment,fructose-1,6-diphosphate（FDP）and captopril（Cap）wereadded to the cold potassium cardioplegia solution and the levels of malondialdehyde（MDA）,cre-atine phosphokinase MB（CPK-MB）,thromboxane B（TXB2）and 6-keto-PGF1α in plasma weremeasured during open-heart surgery.Quantitative study of myocardial ultrastructure and obser-vation of cardiac resuscitation were also undertaken.The findings suggested that FDP,especiallywhen combined with Cap could significantly strengthen the protective effects of cold potassiumcardioplegia solution on ischemic myocardium.0|3|0Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> Full thickness burns of 30% TBSA by napalm was inflicted to rats and the pathologi-cal changes of the thyroid were observed with optical and electron microscopy and with peroxi-dase histoehemistry for 15 days postburn.Dynamic changes of the serum level of T3 and T4 wereobserved concomitantly.It was found that the postburn pathological changes of the thyroid couldbe distinguished into 3 phases as follows:The phase of injury inhibition.This lasted from the 2nd to the 24th hour postburn and wascharacterized by marked damage of the follicular epithelium.The phase of structural and functional recovery.This lasted from the 3rd to 6th day post-burn and was characterized by abated damage of the thyroid and a tendency to recover.The phase of active function.This lasted from the 10th to the 15th day postburn.The syn-thesizing and releasing organellae of the thyroid were well-restored.The changes of T4 were parallel to the pathological changes of the thyroid in all the stages,while T3 level was continously inhibited because of the low serum level of T4,the metabolic dis-turbance of T4 deiodination,and the inhibition of thyroid secretion in the early postburn stage andthe metabolic disturbance of T4 deiodination in the middle and late postburn stages.In the earlypostburn stage,the inhibition on thyroid peroxidase was an important factor to inhibit the func-tion of the thyroid.0|4|0Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> Activity of succinic dehydrogenase（SDH）and acid phosphatase（AcPase）of effector-target cells during the process of LAK cells killing HR8348 cells was estimated by enzyme cyto-chemistry technique.SHD positive granules and AePase gray level were assayed with MIAS-300image analyser.The results showed:（1）After cocultivation of effector and target cells for vari-ous times,the activity of AcPase of HR8348 cells was apparently higher than that of the controlgroup,and it increased following prolonged coincubation.SDH activity of target cells increasedmarkedly within 30 and 60 rain cocultivation,but became low after 90 min treatment.（2）Ac-Pase content within LAK cells at 60,90,120,180 and 240 rain cocultivation was significantlyhigher than that of control group（P<0.01）.The phenomenon of high AcPase and SDH activitywithin effector-target cells indicates that the function of the two types of cells was in an activestate.At the early stage of effector-target combining,the increase of SDH with HR8348 cellsmay be related to defensive function of the target cells.Higher AcPase activity of target cells in-dicates the activation of lysosomal enzyme which serves as the material basis for autolysis of thecells.0|5|0Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> By using anti-ras p21 mouse monoclonal antibody（McAb）,SCI-oncogema 1,the au-thors examined immunohistochemical staining in pancreatic adenocarcinoma.The percentage ofpositive staining was 55.8%（24/43）and was related to either histopathological grade or clinicalstage.Upon statistical analysis of the correlation between the positive staining of anti-ras p21and patient prognosis with Klaplan-Meier curve and Log-rant test,the positive staining casesshowed comparatively better prognosis than the negative ones,suggesting that ras p21 expres-sion may be important in the early stage of pancreatic carcinoma.0|4|0Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> C/EBP is a sequence-specific DNA-binding protein.In order to identify its distribu-tion,localization and function,immunocytochemical technique（ABC method）was done usinganti-C/EBP polypeptide antibodies 1103#,425# in liver specimens from 20 normal adult,5neonatal,6 patients with hepatitis,25 patients with liver cirrhosis,80 patients with hepatocellu-lar carcinoma（40 cases were associated with surrounding nontumorous tissues）and 26 patientswith cholangiocarcinoma（15 cases were associated with surrounding nontumorous tissues）.Theresults showed that C/EBP was diffusely distributed in nuclei and cytoplasm of differentiated liv-er cells and very low or undetectable in liver cancer cells.The expression of C/EBP was in pro-portion to differentiated degree of tumor cells,and was obviously weaker than that in surround-ing nontumorous tissues.C/EBP positive staining has also been found in regenerating epithelialcells of bile ductules.The results suggested that C/EBP might play an important role in estab-lishing and maintaining the differentiation of liver cells and might exert an inhibiting effect againsttransformation of liver cells and proliferation of neoplastic tissue.0|12|0Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> The expression of the products of IGF-Ⅱ,IGF-Ⅱ receptors（IGF-Ⅱ-R）and CSF-Ⅰ re-ceptors（CSF-Ⅰ-R）was observed in 17 cases of human primary hepatocellular carcinoma（PHC）and the juxtacancerous liver tissue with immunohistochemistry（ABC）,Western blot and North-ern blot technique,It was found that the expression of IGF-Ⅱ,IGF-Ⅱ-R and CSF-Ⅰ-R was signif-icantly higher in PHC than in normal liver tissue and the expression of IGF-Ⅱ and IGF-Ⅱ-R wasremarkably higher in the juxtacancerous liver tissue from PHC patients than in PHC proper.Itwas noteworthy that the expression of IGF-Ⅱ in both the cancer proper and the juxtacancerousliver tissue was characterized by its fetal type.Besides,the expression of CSF-Ⅰ-R was signifi-cantly higher in PHC than in the juxtacancerous liver tissue.It is believed that the abnormal ex-pression of IGF-Ⅱ,IGF-Ⅱ-R and CSF-I-R in PHC and the juxtacaneerous liver tissue might berelated to the autocrine mechanism of human PHC.0|15|0Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> To identify the etiology of non-A,non-B,non-C hepatitis,23 such patients succes-sively admitted in our hospital during 1988～1992 were investigated using an enzyme immunoas-say kit with two recombinant hepatitis E virus（HEV）antigens from Genelabs（Redwood City,CA.USA）.Anti-HEV-IgG was detected in 18 cases of them.The disease was diagnosed as hep-atitis E.All 18 patients were Guangzhou residents.This is one of the first reports on the pres-ence of sporadic hepatitis E in a metropolis beyond the endemic areas.The present observationshowed that sporadic hepatitis E occurred out of season and was unlike the epidemic form in Xin-jiang.Fifteen of 18 patients aged from 20 to 50 years,suggesting that it usually prevailed amongthe young-to-middle-aged adults.The ratio of male to female was 14 to 4.The ratio of icterictype to anicteric type was 16 to 2.The jaundice of 16 icteric patients disappeared in 24.6 days（range,14～60 days）.The average alanine aminotransferase level was 806 IU/L（range,74～1676 IU/L）,which declined to normal in 30.4 days（range,19～77 days）.All patients recov-ered completely in 4.7 weeks.This report also indicated that the course of sporadic hepatitis E,as of epidemic form,is self-limiting and has no chronic sequelae.0|7|0Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> Changes in plasma atrial natriuretic peptide（ANP）and serum lipids were observed us-ing dietetic atherosclerosis（AS）models.The results showed that plasma ANP level of the ASgroup was significantly higher than that of the control group（14.33±3.58μg/L vs 9.43±3.14μg/L）.There was also a marked increase in serum Tch,TG,LDL-ch and VLDL-ch comparedwith the control group（P<0.01）,suggesting that release of ANP increased with disturbance ofthe serum lipids and during AS formation,and that change in ANP was closely related to Tchand LDL-ch（P<0.05）.Possible mechanisms causing these changes are also discussed.0|12|0Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> In the present experiment,we investigate the effects of orthodontic tooth rotation onneighboring teeth and periodontal tissues.The second maxillary incisors of 16 randomly selecteddogs were subjected to rotation at a magnitude of 100 grams and a moment of 550 g·mm in a du-ration of 3 to 56 days.Then sections were prepared for histological examination.The findings re-vealed that,due to tooth rotation,neighboring teeth were drifted and rotated（82%）,and therewere disarrangement and hyalinization of the periodontal ligament（88%）,remodeling of the pe-riodontium（86%）and root resorption（32%）were also observed.These results demonstratethat tooth rotation may exert marked effects on neighboring teeth and periodontal tissues,whichmay be of important clinical significance.0|16|0Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> A fragment of hepatitis delta antigen（HDAg）,a 27-peptide,was synthesized andused to develop an ELISA for the diagnosis of hepatitis delta virus（HDV）infection.It was foundthat positive anti-HD reaction occurred in the 27-peptide coated microtiter well after a sample ofstored serum known to be anti-HD positive was added. Neutralization test revealed that the pep-tide competed with natural HDAg for anti-HD, indicating the similarity of the antigenicity be-tween the peptide and natural HDAg.The peptide was quite specific in its antigenicity withoutcross reaction with normal human or mouse serum or with human anti-HA,anti-HB or anti-HCpositive serum.When the peptide was used clinically,1 anti-HD positive case among 300 blooddonors and 21 anti-HD positive cases among 211 cases of various forms of hepatitis B were detect-ed with the 27-peptide.0|5|0Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> A nested polymerase chain reaction（N-PCR）for the spegific detection of Helicobacterpylori（H.pylori）was developed with two primer pairs（nested primers）derived from ureasegene A of H.pylori.The N-PCR was used to detect 21 different samples of H.pylori including20 clinical isolates and 1 reference strain NCTC 14126,but it was negative for other bacterialspecies,showing the N-PCR assay to be 100% specific.Tenfold serial dilution experiments re-vealed the detection of as little as 0.1 fg of H.pylori DNA by N-PCR.To evaluate the PCR as-say for clinical samples,gastric biopsies were tested with N-PCR,and the results were comparedwith those of culture,urease test and histologic examination（reference standard,RS）.In 30biopsy specimens,H.pylori DNA sequences were detected by PCR in all of 20（100%）positivetissue and none of the 10 negative tissues.PCR is a specific and sensitive method that can detectthe presence of H.pylori without the need for culture and would have significant importance di-agnostically and epidemiologically.0|9|1Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> The authors made rat model of chronic renal failure by feeding the animals with foodcontaining 0.5 % adenine and treated with Niaoduqing（NDQ）,a Chinese patent medicine,whichcomposed of Rhizoma Rhei,Radix Glycyrrhizae,Radix Paeoniae Alba,etc.The rats were divid-ed into four groups:model control,normal control;and two NDQ-treated groups with high andlow doses separately.The blood tests including urea nitrogen（BUN）,serum creatinine（Scr）,red blood cell（RBC）,hemoglobin （Hb） hematocrit （HCT）,sodium （Na）,potassium （K）,cal-cium（Ca）and phosphate（P）levels were performed atthe fourth week and the eighth week,thetime of sacrifice.The results showed that in the NDQ-treated groups the mean levels of BUN andScr were lower and the mean values of RBC,Hb and HCT,higher than those in the untreatedcontrol group.In the NDQ-treated groups,hyperphosphatemia and hypocalcemia of rats im-proved,the deposited crystals of adenine metabolite and the proliferation of fibroid tissue in kid-ney decreased.These findings indicate that NDQ can ameliorate the symptoms of chronic renalfailure and delay the progress of this disease.0|16|0Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> Presented are methods for preparation,photosensitizing potential,photoinactivationof human cancer cells in vitro,efficacy of photodynamic therapy（PDT）of transplanted animaltumor and related data of preclinical and toxicological tests of a new single porphyrin compoundhematoporphyrin monomethyl ether（HMME）.The results of experiments indicated that in com-parison with the mixed porphyrin preparation（HpD）now used in clinical practice,HMMEproved to be of higher photosensitizing potential,stronger photodynamic effects,lower toxicitynonmutagenicity and nonteratogenicity,furthermore it can be selectively uptaken into tumor tis-sue in mice.It may be considered a new ideal drug candidate for tumor photodynamic therapy.0|29|1Updated：2026-03-12
- Abstract：<正> In the paper,we review our preclinical and clinical studies on motilin （MTL） in recentyears.Our studies have demonstrated for the first time that MTL was widely distributed in hu-man body fluids,fetal cerebrospinal fluid and digestive tract and have revealed that both humanand rabbit Mo cells（MTL-secreting cells）did secret intracavitarily.The endogenous MTL hadan accelerating effect on small bowel transmit time.Wheaten food taking could inhibit the releaseof MTL into plasma,and acupuncturing in certain acupoints could promote its secretion.The ris-es of plasma MTL levels were found in patients with liver cirrhosis,pregnant hypertension syn-drome or in stress state.MTL levels in plasma and gastroduodenal juices of gastric cancer pa-tients were elevated significantly;MTL levels in plasma were decreased in patients with non-ul-cer dyspepsia,bile-regurgitational gastritis or leukemia.We also probed into the phys-iopathological significance of changes in MTL levels in other human body fluids.0|4|0Updated：2026-03-12
