Abstract
<正> The growth of 111 cultures of human epidermal keratinocytes inexplant culture
dispersed cell culture and 3T3 feeder layer culturewas studied.The rate of monolayer formation was 80.0% in 3T3feeder layer cultures
52.5% in explant cultures and only 11.8% indispersed cell cultures.It is concluded that among the modelsstudied the 3T3 feeder layer culture is the most effective andpossesses many advantages for the cultivation of human keratino-cytes;the explant culture would be a simple and easy method if wecan effectively control the contamination by fibroblasts.The growthpattern of cultured keratinocytes in each model was described.
