摘要

Abstract

<正> An experimental study on models of traumatic wounds and scars made oncorneas of 116 rabbits indicates that“Hua yunning”has no adverse effect on healing ofcorneal traumatic wound.Its therapeutic effect on corneal nebula was singificant and farbetter than that of dionine and sodium iodide.On pathological

histochemical and electronmicroscopic examinations it is found that the action of Huayunning on corneal scar seemsto be inhibition of the abnormal proliferation of fibroblasts in the stroma and synthesis ofcollagens

enhancing maturation of fibroblasts and causing the cells

fibers and groundsubstance in the corneal stroma to become normal or nearly normal.
