摘要

Abstract

<正> An immunogold-silver staining method was developed using homemadeserotonin antibody and the sensitivity and specificity of the antibody weredetermined by this method.The effective working dilution of the antibody was1:20000-1:80000.The morphology and distribution of the serotonin immunoreactiveendocrine cells in the gastrointestinal tract of rat and the serotoninergic neuronsin the medulla oblongata of cat demonstrated by the antibody were similar tothose reported in the list of references

suggesting that the antibody possessed highsensitivity and specificity.
