HMMEproved to be of higher photosensitizing potential
stronger photodynamic effects
lower toxicitynonmutagenicity and nonteratogenicity
furthermore it can be selectively uptaken into tumor tis-sue in mice.It may be considered a new ideal drug candidate for tumor photodynamic therapy.
