Abstract
<正> This paper is to report the experience of establishing a natural matingcolony of A.dirus with-two different sized cages in laboratory conditions.In the large cage of 50×50×100cm in size
the mosquito colonyhas been propagated to the 42nd generation
and the natural mating ratewas stablized around 80% with a highest rate of 90.63%.In the small cageof 31×20×22cm in size
the mosquito colony
which was transferredfrom the 15th generation of the large cage colony
has been propagated tothe 28th generation
and the natural mating rate of the 14th generationreached 68.96% and the highest mating rate reached 80.36%.We havesatisfactorily accomplished the task to continue the natural mating colonyof A.dirus in the small cages as well as in the large cage
