Abstract

<正> The affinity between 2-iminobiotin and avidin decreases with the decreasing ofpH.According to this property

avidin was purified in its natural state without alterationof its properties with affinity chromatography on 2-iminobiotin-AH-sepharose 4B column.The purified avidin had high activity to bind with biotin

showed one band onpolyacrylamide electrophoresis

and was much purer than the products commerciallyavailable.
