Abstract

<正> A new technigue to use forearm free flap for reconstructingcarcinoma-or benign tumor-related defects of the tongue is reported.Vasoneuralpedicles were anastomosed to their counterparts in the submandibular areathrough the floor of the mouth.Of the twenty-one cases that received treatment

only 2 failures were observed.The technique achieved success in the rest 19

αhigh success rate of tissue transplantation in intraoral use.
