摘要
Abstract
<正> Effect of electrical stimulation of lateral hypothalamic area(LHA)on pain threshold of rats was studied by using tailflickresponse to radiant heat as the index of pain response and theinfluence of intraperitoneally injected naloxone on the analgesiceffect of LHA was observed. The result showed that pain thresholdof the animals raised 52.5% in average after LHA stimulation andthis analgesic action of LHA decreased significantly after injecionof naloxone.Quantitatively the analgesic effect of LHA was muchweaker than that of electroaccupuncture. The possible underlyingmechanisms were discussed.
